Figmint — Accessibility
Figmint is built to work for everyone. Accessibility isn't an afterthought —
it's tested as part of every release. Updated June 17, 2026.
What Figmint supports
- VoiceOver. Every control is labelled and operable with VoiceOver, including
custom ones — the color wheel is an adjustable control you can swipe to change, and idea cards,
web nodes, and tools expose actions (connect, recolor, move, open) through the rotor.
- Dynamic Type. Text scales with your preferred reading size, all the way up
to the largest accessibility sizes, without clipping.
- Legible color. Text on Figmint's colored cards, tags, and badges meets the
WCAG AA contrast ratio (4.5:1) across the whole color wheel — verified automatically on every build.
- Differentiate Without Color. Anything shown with color is also marked another
way (a checkmark, a border, or an icon), so meaning never depends on color alone.
- Increase Contrast. Cards gain a defined edge so they stay distinct.
- Reduce Transparency. Translucent surfaces become solid for easier reading.
- Reduce Motion. Animations are minimized or removed when this is on.
- Dark Interface. Figmint follows your light or dark appearance system-wide.
- Larger touch targets. Buttons and controls meet the 44×44 pt minimum.
- Nine languages. The interface is fully localized in English, Spanish, French,
German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Russian.
- Private by design. Everything — including the on-device AI — runs locally on
your device, so using Figmint never requires being online or sharing your ideas.
